Key Capital Investment Management manages in excess of €1bn of private assets and invests with leading private asset managers globally such as: CVC, Permira, Apax, Menlo Ventures and Blackstone. The role is an exciting opportunity to join an established, growing firm and to work with an experienced team with a strong performance track record.

The Associate will have a key role across all Key Capital managed Private Asset Funds. The Associate will focus on primary and secondary fund investments across private equity, venture capital, private equity real estate and private credit. The Associate will also be involved in the ongoing monitoring, reporting and management of the Key Capital Funds.

Details of the Role

• Screen private asset funds and conduct due diligence (strategy, team, performance, terms)

• Prepare investment recommendations and present to Investment Committee

• Monitor portfolios through ongoing dialogue with managers and attendance at investor meetings

• Prepare quarterly reports for investors and the Board of the Funds.

• Preparation of marketing materials and documentation for new Fund launches

• Responsible for the ongoing management and operation of the Funds, supported by the team and Fund’s service providers.

• Various ad-hoc projects and reports as required

Required Skills

• Highly motivated and driven

• Deep understanding of finance principles and an ability to analyse investment opportunities

• Strong excel modelling skills

• Strong writing, PowerPoint and memo-drafting skills

• An analytical mindset and attention to detail essential

• Comfortable managing junior team members

Profile

• Degree in finance, engineering or similar

• 3-5 years’ experience in finance – private assets, fund-of-funds, AIFM, or similar

• Opportunity to travel occasionally, primarily to London

• Work authorisation in Ireland is required
