Key Capital supported Customs Support Group (CSG) in the identification and acquisition of Beagans Limited, a leading Irish customs clearance services company with a 60-year history in its third generation of family ownership.

CSG is Europe’s leading independent provider of customs and trade solutions, helping businesses move goods across borders efficiently and compliantly. With over 1,700 customs professionals across 15 European countries serving over 60,000 customers, CSG helps business navigate complex regulations and improve supply chain efficiency.

This marks CSG’s second acquisition in Ireland after entering the Irish market through the acquisition of Bell Transport & Logistics Ltd in 2021, also supported by Key Capital, and allows CSG to offer clients even more comprehensive solutions, cross-border support, greater capacity, and seamless and efficient movement of goods between the UK and Ireland.

“Beagans Limited is a long-standing family business founded in 1953 that has evolved with major changes in international trade, from Ireland’s EU Single Market entry to the Brexit. With this acquisition, the Group’s UK and Irish workforce will total approximately 250 experts, boosting cross-border support and operational capacity. We are happy to welcome the Beagans Limited team to the CSG family and thank the Key Capital team for their professional and efficient support on this acquisition.”
Michel van den Steenhoven- Corporate Development Director, CSG.
"We were pleased to support and advise CSG on their second strategic acquisition in Ireland. Beagans Limited has extensive knowledge of the local market and long-standing relationships with clients in Ireland and Northern Ireland. We will continue to work closely with them to monitor the market and identify further acquisition opportunities."
