Key Capital advised Virginia Logistics on its agreement to a significant investment from MML
Key Capital is pleased to announce that Virginia International Logistics (“Virginia" or “the Company”), a leading transport and logistics business in Ireland, has agreed a significant investment from MML Growth Capital Partners Ireland (“MML Ireland”) .
Virginia was established in Co. Cavan, Ireland in 1982 and the family owners have led the expansion of the business over the past 40 years to now focus on international logistics across Ireland, the UK and Europe. The Company employs c.200 people and expects revenues in excess of c.€40 million in the year to 31 December 2022. The business services many sectors with a particular focus on food & beverage, industrial, manufacturing and pharmaceutical markets.
Virginia operates a fleet of over 130 trucks and 400 trailers in conjunction with a 50,000 square foot facility in Kells, Co. Meath offering storage of chilled and dry goods. It has additional transport hub facilities in Ballycoolin, Dublin and Tamworth, UK. It also offers customs clearance, freight forwarding, and temperature-controlled services.
MML is a provider of growth capital to private businesses on the island of Ireland for expansions, acquisitions, recapitalisations and shareholder reorganisations.
