Key Capital advised APT on the sale of the business to Great-West Lifeco / Irish Life

Key Capital advised APT, a leading independent pensions and wealth management consultancy, on the sale of the business to Great-West Lifeco / Irish Life.

Founded in 1999, APT employs 40 people in its offices in Sandyford, Co. Dublin and provides corporate pension management services to a large multinational client base and wealth management advice to over 1,500 private clients. The group has over €1.6bn in AUAA and has grown significantly in recent years.

Following the transaction, APT will continue to face the market as a standalone provider of pensions and wealth solutions, however now with the backing of the Great-West Lifeco group.

Key Capital acted as sole financial advisor to the shareholders of APT Workplace Pensions and APT Wealth Management.
