Des McLean

Des is the Chief Financial Officer at Key Capital. Des joined the Firm in 2014 as Group Financial Controller and in 2017 Des became Chief Financial Officer and was appointed to the boards of Key Capital Private and Key Capital Investment Management.

Prior to joining Key Capital, Des worked at Deloitte, where he managed the audit engagements of large international and Irish clients within the financial services sector including insurance, investment funds and securitisations. Des also spent time with Pepper Money as a senior risk manager responsible for implementing and overseeing the risk framework of the Firm.

Des is a fellow of the Institute of Charted Accountants in Ireland, holds a BA in Economics and Law from NUI Galway and has a postgraduate in accounting from Dublin City University.
