Key Capital Graduate Programme

Key Capital was established in 2001 and operates from offices in Dublin and London. The principal activities of the group are the provision of advisory services to corporate and high net worth clients and investment management services to institutional clients. We are a local firm that works and invests with a global mandate. We have well established international networks as well as longstanding relationships with leading global banks and private asset managers.

Key Capital Corporate Finance

Key Capital Corporate Finance advises business owners, companies and private equity firms on corporate finance transactions including mergers & acquisitions, capital-raising, debt restructuring and strategic development. Key Capital has executed €5 billion in M&A, financing (both debt and equity) and restructuring transactions over the last 10 years.

Key Capital is the exclusive Irish partner to IMAP, the world’s leading mid-market M&A partnership. This provides its clients with access to M&A opportunities and investment banking partnerships in 40 countries and provides the team with global corporate finance exposure.

   Key responsibilities will include;

  • Preparation of pitch books and information memorandums.

  • Financial modelling and company valuation.

  • Company and industry research; and

  • Project management of deal logistics.

Key Capital Investment Management

KCIM is the alternative investment management arm of Key Capital. We provide qualifying investors access to leading global managers in private equity, real estate and opportunistic credit strategies. KCIM currently manages investment commitments of over €1bn across these strategies.  

 KCIM is a small team where the graduate will gain a wide variety of experience in private market investing and portfolio management.  Key responsibilities will include;

  • Interacting with private equity, real estate and private credit managers to identify investment opportunities and manage existing investments.

  • Detailed qualitative and quantitative analysis and due diligence of new investment opportunities for KCIM managed funds.

  • Assisting in the process of measuring and monitoring fund performance.

  • Production of investor reporting for KCIM managed funds.

  • Production of marketing material for KCIM funds and target investors; and

  • Working with team members to implement processes for measuring and monitoring fund performance.

Key Capital Private

Key Capital Private is one of Ireland’s leading Wealth Management firms. We are seeing significant growth serving the investment needs of Irish high net worth clients, family offices and not for profit institutions. We develop long-term relationships with our clients based on mutual trust and provide our clients with sophisticated wealth management strategies that match their investment requirements.

There are potentially two graduate roles within Key Capital Private

(a)   Investment

  • Assist with the co-ordination of client portfolio reviews and proposals.

  • Supporting the investment team in their analysis of funds, asset classes and markets.

  • Preparation of ad-hoc requests associated with market developments.

  • Assisting with preparation of PowerPoint presentations for client events.

  • Assisting the investment team in the preparation of material for client meetings.

(b)   Client Management and Operations

  • Working with Relationship managers in delivering high levels of service to our clients

  • Co-ordinate new account opening process

  • Communication of client investment decisions to investment team

  • Process client cash/fx & trade requests and co-ordinate execution with middle office operations function

  • Assist with meeting preparation for existing clients

  • Client reporting including preparing tax packs as well as responding to ad hoc client queries

The Graduate will have:
  1. A strong academic background with a minimum of 2:1 Honours in a in a Finance/Business/Engineering/Humanities/Arts or other relevant discipline.

  2. Excellent analytical ability, business acumen and demonstrated desire to work within the financial services industry.

  3. Good verbal and effective written communications skills, including the ability to prepare and deliver reports and presentations.

  4. Strong self-motivation, desire to listen and to learn, and ability to work autonomously.
